The
Bouvier Blunder
Chad McMasters was terribly conflicted. On the one hand,
he had the job of a lifetime serving as the press
secretary for a congressman whose political rise was
nearly meteoric. On the other hand, there was just
something off about his boss that raised a number of red
flags for Chad. Add to this the fact that Chad's best
friend had a new identity as Gordon Blansford and
Gordon's wife Emerald had real fears that both men's
involvement with the congressman may jeopardize her
husband's new-found freedom.
Chad's journey of perseverance takes him many places.
From the small corner of the Ozarks known as Bouvier,
Missouri to the beach front destinations of Destin,
Florida and in this case the not-so-hallowed Washington
D.C. offices of a certain congressman from Florida.
Along the way he is encouraged by several seemingly
dissimilar characters who eventually find common ground
in helping Chad find a resolution to his every
increasingly impossible situation. And of course it all
unfolds with Girl Scout cookies, lingerie parties and
several unimaginable crimes and offenses!
